We're replacing that with one shared room. People work on the same page together, changes stay in sync, and review happens right where the work happens through comments, @mentions, threaded discussions, and real-time collaboration. Humans and the Page Builder Agent work side by side.

The problems you'd pick up

Here's what's actually on the table right now.

A high-fidelity website preview inside the Page Builder. We need to embed a real website inside our product and make it feel like a native editing surface. Pages must render faithfully, while we layer interactive controls, selections, comments, and other collaboration UI on top. All of this must work without breaking or interfering with the underlying site. This brings challenges around browser constraints, cross-origin behaviour, navigation, and communication between the preview and the Page Builder.

Real-time collaboration, past the happy path. We build on real-time collaboration infrastructure. Out of the box gets us part of the way there. The harder part is keeping state consistent across clients and multiple storages, handling edge cases around connectivity and synchronization, and building product interactions that don't come ready-made with the infrastructure. Expect to spend real time here.

Comments that write themselves. We want AI to leave useful comments on its own. It should be able to watch signals across a project and speak up when something deserves attention. The orchestration, automation, and scheduling behind that don't exist yet. You'd help design them.

Some of these will be solved before you start. Others will replace them. The shape of the work won't change: browser behaviour, live embedded experiences, deep third-party integrations, real-time systems, and interfaces that several people use at once.

Role 💫

We're looking for a Senior Product Engineer to join the Collaboration Squad.

We chose the title Product Engineer on purpose. We're not looking for someone who ships clean code against a spec. We want someone who owns the outcome: talks to users, decides what to build with product, ships it, and is accountable for whether it moved the numbers. It's less about handoffs and more about owning the work end to end.

This is an individual contributor role. You'll have a lot of autonomy over both product and technical decisions, while working closely with product, design, and the rest of the engineering team.

Are you the one? 🧠

This role leans frontend, and it leans hard toward the browser.

Ideally, you:

• Know how browsers actually behave. You've dealt with things like iframes, cross-origin rules, cookies, storage, and extensions in real products.

• Have built embedded or live experiences that run inside pages you don't fully control.

• Have integrated third-party SDKs deeply, going far past the happy path and into the parts the vendor didn't anticipate.

• Have built collaborative interfaces several people use at the same time: presence, comments, shared state, and low-latency editing.

You also bring the baseline every Product Engineer here shares:

• You're full-stack. You work across frontend and backend, and you're comfortable with databases and infrastructure.

• You handle complex integrations and ambiguous product problems without waiting to be told what to do.

• You have hands-on experience with agentic AI systems, or strong curiosity about them.

• You care about quality engineering: testing, observability, traceability.

We weigh competencies over years of experience or job titles.

Bonus points

• You've built content platforms, page builders, or rich editing tools.

• You've worked in high-growth SaaS.

• You've shipped a browser extension.

Remote doesn’t mean working in isolation. We intentionally create time to collaborate, connect, and solve problems side by side.

We get together in our Paris office for one week per quarter, and we expect everyone on the team to attend. These weeks are planned in advance, with travel and accommodation covered by Prismic. We organize activities throughout the week to help people connect and spend time together beyond the usual meetings.

If you're based in France, you'll also be expected to spend two days per month in the office, except during months when the quarterly in-person week takes place.
